Im an 18 yr. old college student and i just recently found out that im expecting. I had to make the most difficult decision of my life and that decision was to keep my child. I have no support. My family is ashamed and my childs father is mentally and physically abusive. Im all alone the only thing i have left is faith. I just got laid off from my job of two yrs and i have no place to call home.. Im in need of a job and some type of housing assistance in Detroit MI.. I would be soo happy if someone could just give me some advice or help in this situation that im in.Thank you

glad you decided to have your child they are the most wonderful well its hard times stay calm think, be smart in all decisions and remember that all that you do from now on is for your child

the torment will pass meanwhile be strong never forget God he is always with you  this will make you a stronger person, independent,apriciative over all just better, and you will pass it to your child. they will also be a better people one day what ever you do dont listen to your abusive boyfriend or go back dont give in remember your kid. go to a church they will help you

well i lived in taylor mi for a bit and there is section 8 type apts out on eureka between beechdaly and inskter called the springs...also  try contacting wayne metro and look up churches because some of them will help you with baby stuff also salvation army can give you referrals to places.......
